Ceyda Tanc Dance has built a strong reputation for providing excellent dance education nationally. The company delivers high-quality, artist-led classes and workshops from ages 5 to 60+, and pre-vocational training. Youth dance alumni have continued their training at London Contemporary Dance School, Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Trinity Laban, Rambert School and Univesity of Chichester.
Dance education and community engagement is at the core of CTD’s work. We work with diverse groups and settings, including education institutions, community groups, theatre venues and festivals. We have a thriving regular class programme at our resident space, THE STUDIO, Brighton and offer wraparound activities and workshops based on our professional work.
We offer a bespoke workshop series targeted towards engaging girls and young women. The work and its themes offer an empowering alternative for young women to experience dance that is strong, athletic and feminine in equal measure.
